bespoke fine art mosaics created using high quality Italian materials
Neil Greer Mosaics
Mosaic Artist
After graduating with first class honours from Kingston University, Neil went on
to work for Jakob Schlapfer AG, a Swiss textile manufacturer that had
sponsored his final degree show. He was responsible for all of their press
promotional designs utilising their exclusive textiles, which are world famous for
their exquisite appliqués and embroideries.

On returning from Switzerland, he was employed by Nigel French Enterprises
Ltd, as a menswear designer/illustrator following which he set up his own
design studio in Carnaby Street in central London, producing presentation
boards and trend forecasts for major fashion houses, design studios and store
groups. He worked with Marks and Spencers, Jaeger, Viyella, Courtaulds,
Speedo, Conran Design Group and many more.

This culminated in the establishment of a trend-forecasting company,
Tendenz, through he supplied a range of colour and fabric forecasts and
fashion trendbooks to clients worldwide, through an international network of
agents. Clients included Reebok, Nautica, The Gap, Ralph Lauren, etc.

His fascination with mosaics was a recurring theme however, and what was
once a hobby, has become a business, which he conducts from his studio on
the south coast of England, incorporating his illustration skills and experience
with colour and texture.

Interior Design

Neil has also applied his love of shape and form to interior design projects and
his home design range of mosaic tabletops, screens, fine art mosaics and
garden features complements a contemporary or traditional setting. Mosaics
have an enduring quality which makes them ideal for commemorative gifts and
future heirlooms.
